We still had plenty of work to do on the “Streif 2026 Edition” too...

An intense week in Kitzbühel came to an end on Saturday with the downhill race on the Streif. The result is secondary, because for me it was important to work on the deficiencies from Wengen, which is not something that can be done in a few simple steps.
That's why the focus in the two training sessions was precisely on that. So I was satisfied with my run from the race to the upper Hausberg. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to maintain this pace 100% on the approach to the Hausbergkante and through the traverse, as my skis kept “skidding” a few times too much and the gap widened disproportionately. Oh well... Rome wasn't built in a day either; we'll keep working!
On Sunday, I'll be traveling on to Verbier to compete in various European Cup races before continuing on to the World Cup in Crans-Montana...
Thank you all for your support, whether on and off the slopes or at home in front of your TV sets...
With sporting regards
Livio
